Data Analyst

 A privately held company in Springfield, VA has an opening for a team oriented, self motivated individual, for a position supporting the TRIDENT/SSGN Submarine Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Life Cycle Support (TMDE LCS) and Calibration Program. 

 Minimum Requirements:  High school diploma; must be able to travel; 3 years experience in data collection and analysis; experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project applications; excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills required.  Under the general supervision of the Data Quality Assurance Manager, the candidate will assume responsibility for ensuring integrity of the TRIDENT/SSGN installed data.  The candidate will be expected to participate in the TMDE Status Inspections (TSIs) onboard TRIDENT/SSGN submarines; and other meetings as required.  The candidate will be expected to provide clear, informative trip reports, action items, or meeting summations to management.  The candidate must be able to complete tasks with minimal supervision and be able to work well independently or as part of a team.  U.S. Navy experience, bachelor’s degree, familiarity with data integration, user interface testing, and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Access are a plus.

Integrated Logistics Support Junior Staff Positions

 Job Responsibilities

 Candidates are needed that can support selected parts of ILS tasks in engineering, program management, financial, acquisition, IT, and analysis. Job Responsibilities

Candidate will provide Calibration Support services in direct support of the Fleet, shipyards, industrial facilities, and NAVSEA performing specific Life Cycle Engineering Management and technical functions. Candidate is responsible for independently planning and accomplishing complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity in the following areas:

• Calibration Requirements List (CRL) Management: Manage, adjudicate, and standardize multiple class CRL program of record.
• Conduct site validations to verify CRL program of record databases: Research, develop and initiate Technical Feedback Reports and CRL change requests based on reviews.
• Identify differences between CRL and Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) and identify discrepancies between the CRL and the Navy’s Configuration Database of record.

• Perform a sight validation of onboard Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) and provide status reports and change recommendations.
• Coordinate and track the transfer of General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment (GPETE) with Ships’ Force, CTRA Centers, Regional Calibration Coordinators, and Integrated Logistic Overhaul (ILO) personnel for turn in and provisioning of replacement GPETE.

Desired Experience/Qualifications/Education

• Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience
• Associates level degree in an engineering discipline or significant Government, civilian, or military experience working as an engineer for submarine or ship maintenance or shipyard repair
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with the management/maintenance of SUBMEPP’s calibration program
• Candidate must have the ability to successfully acquire and/or transfer a DoD security clearance. An existing clearance is a plus.
